Service Description

Defensive Rifle (Step 1) This class is designed or those who know how to safely handle their modern semi automatic rifle and want to begin training with it defensively. This class is physically demanding and we will be on our feet for most of our time together. Class will begin with the fundamental safety rules and how they apply on a dynamic range and in a self defense situation. Next we head to the range to work dry excersises and reinforce a safety mindset. Our core curriculum focuses on zeroing our sights, reloads, common malfunctions, and fundamental defensive handling. Class start time is 8 AM. Paperwork, introductions, overview and safety brief will be conducted first thing. Live fire will commence no earlier than 9 AM. After our range time a brief range cleanup will take place followed by a roundtable and awarding of class certificates. Class will be dismissed by 1:20 PM Required equipment: Modern reliable semi automatic rifle (recommended AR-15 pattern rifle chambered for 556) A quality optic or quality Iron sights (front and rear) for your rifle (both are preffered) A quality sling mounted on your rifle 3 Magazines for your rifle 270 Rounds (at most) of ammunition for your rifle (recommended 55 Grain full metal jacket 556) Modern semi automatic handgun 2 magazines for handgun 75 rounds of full metal jacket ammunition for your pistol A quality, rigid outside the waistband holster designed to fit your pistol: Inside the waistband holsters will not be permitted. A rigid gun belt or load bearing belt designed for firearms use. 2 magazine pouches for your rifle 1 Magazine Pouch for your pistol Hearing protection Impact rated eye protection (glasses recomended) Water, recommended 64 oz minimum (for your hydration) Snacks Please email us if you have any questions
