Service Description

What is the forge? Part competition, part group learning, part individually tailored coaching. If you want to improve as a shooter with evidence based coaching, this is the series for you. The forge is where we take safe shooters and make them more accurate, more efficient & more confident. We are leveraging 10 years of teaching experience to help you grow. Each month Spitfire will demonstrate a series of drills to efficiency & accuracy standards. Participants will be given the opportunity shoot the drills, record their results, and receive objective coaching on specific improvements for the sake of efficiency and accuracy. Additional sub drills or compound drills will be added as would assist individual needs. Each month we will review drills that were learned previously and use them as an entry point for additional performance. Participants may be partnered up and help each other in recording their performance. Spitfire will provide leadership in demonstrating drills & identifying critical areas for improvement. Coaching will be given on a group and/or individual basis as needed. SIRT & other dry tools will be used where needed. Our first event will be a series of drills designed to enhance fundamental skills, such as draw time, reloads, etc. Our second outing will incorporate more and varied distance & multiple target (moving target) drills. Our third event will involve moving forward, rearward, and laterally to targets, heightening the need to to build a platform rapidly, & to engage with consistent follow up shots. Our fourth event in December (date to be determined) will feature some favorite drills as well as truly challenging compound events. Participants will review their performances & see how far they've advanced. Minimum Ability Requirements for the program: ONE -- Possessing adequate situational awareness; TWO -- Maintaining consistent safe trigger finger discipline; THREE -- Demonstrating heightened muzzle discipline; FOUR -- Applying these safely while working from a holster. This is the program for you!
