Forge 2: Going the distance. Oct 26th

Service Description

What is the forge? Part competition, part group learning, part individually tailored coaching. If you want to improve as a shooter with evidence based coaching, this is the series for you. The forge is where we take safe shooters and make them more accurate, more efficient & more confident. We are leveraging 10 years of teaching experience to help you grow. More info is available in the Forge 1 listing on the classes page. Being our second outing will incorporate more and varied distance & multiple target (moving target) drills. We will have one course of fire for multiple targets and another for distance shooting. Participants will review their performances & see how far they've advanced. Minimum Ability Requirements for the program: ONE -- Possessing adequate situational awareness; TWO -- Maintaining consistent safe trigger finger discipline; THREE -- Demonstrating heightened muzzle discipline; FOUR -- Applying these safely while working from a holster. It is highly advised that you attend all event in the Forge so you can build your skills systematically and be prepared for follow on events. Gear requirements: Eye and Ear protection Modern, reliable handgun A stiff outside the waistband holster which completely covers the trigger guard and has no retention device interfacing with the trigger guard. We recommend a range or duty style holster. A solid belt, gun belt etc. Enough mags to carry a minimum of 45 rounds on your person at a time. 150 Rounds of ammunition minimum, 400 rounds recommended.
