Intro to Handgun April 11th

Service Description

This is our redesigned 6 hour introductory level class: perfect for the new shooter, the shooter who's never had formal instruction, or the shooter that wants a refresher. This is a hands on course and we will spend as much time on the range as possible. In the event of inconvenient weather we will use the clubhouse to warm up. We will cover: Fundamental safety rules, practical safe gun handling, safely loading and unloading, the 8 steps of good shooting. If time permits we will include the following: handguns of alternate sizes to inform you as a purchaser, gun cleaning steps, overview of self defense laws, overview of home storage. We will only be taking short breaks as needed. Sign in is at 8:00 AM class starts at 8:15 AM. We plan to end at 2:45 PM If you sign up please make sure to check your junk/spam folder as we will be communicating with you about the class. Please bring the following: Clothing appropriate for the day. Sturdy shoes, no sandals, no crocs. A hat. Brimmed and warm hats are recommended depending on the day. Sunglasses. Sunscreen. Bug repellent. Water. Snacks and and or a lunch. A notepad and pencil for taking notes.
